From Santander to Santiago
We love the idea of adventure. I don’t know if it’s because we are British – with a long history of adveturers – or if it’s because we live in times where most jobs aren’t inspiring so we have to seek our own fun elsewhere, away from the workplace. Everyone of us at some point or another experiences the wanderlust, the desire to up and leave and see where the wind takes you.
For whatever reason, we decided to embark on a journey, of discovery, of self sufficiency and one which will test our motivation and stamina. We are cycling from Santander in northern Spain to Santiago de Compostela – following the Pilgimage Route along the Way of St James.
Details of the 1st Leg.
We land in Santander on the 18th July 2011.
